Where is the least expensive pint in England?
Don't mean drinks deals in clubs etc I mean proper boozers and proper prices.

Went to a pub in Ashford about 10 years ago that was £1.20. Dunno if it's still there.

There's a pub in LIVERPOOL called "Pound Pub" which does selected pints for about £1.50 and bottles for £1 (slightly misleading name)

Any more come to mind?

The Northern Whispered I mentioned earlier has all beers at £1.50 on Wednesday. Looks like the dog will be getting an extra walk tonight.

Re: Where is the LEAST expensive pint in England?
Wetherspoons ain't always that cheap.

Hamilton Hall is about a quid or 2 more than most Spoons for most things.

Can think of a few places where its not the cheapest in the area as well, far from it in fact.

After the Cup game v Wigan we found a pub and got a pint of Guinness and a pint of Stella for £6.30.
Down my local that would be around £11.00.

Crankshaft brewery

Valley Hammer,
The Crankshaft is in Leyland, I went to the Whittingham beer & sausage bank holiday weekend festival and dicovered some of the Crankshaft beers, they were very good.

I was in your neck of the woods recently, they have some very small pubs !!!

I'm not that far from you,

i paid £3.90 for a pint of stella in the driver on friday, having spent £5.20 on a pint of morretti in the coburn 30 minutes before-- daft seeing the difference in pricing for two pints which were equally fucking gorgeous

Re: Where is the least expensive pint in England?
A craft brewery near me has its ales from £2.70. It's good stuff too. Being east Lancashire, it might be a bit far for most of you but handy for when we play at Burnley.

But that's the average.

In York, the gap between the cheapest pint and the most expensive is growing, with most expensive being more than £5.50.
